From Jason Wu to YSL, the peplum reigned supreme. Whether worked into a skirt, blouse or jacket, the flared design is this season’s must-have accoutrement.

Designers used hummingbirds, swans, and pheasants in their bold creations this season—from abstract, graceful lines to three-dimensional birds perched on the chest and shoulders.

Both designs are a fun play on the classic skirt and can be seen out and about on fashionistas everywhere! These skirts can be dressed up with a pair of high heels or wedges and dressed down with a pair of boots or Spring flats!

Are you a shoe fanatic like me? If the answer is "yes" then check out this Spring's hottest flat footware trends! Free your feet of socks and don't worry about enduring those heels... These flats make a fashionable statement all their own and they go with everything! My personal favorite trends this season are the oxford, leopard, and animal flats seen below!

Are you looking for a fun way to try out this Spring's hot color-blocking trend without overdoing it? Then look no further! High and low-end designers/ chain stores are putting their personalized touch on the color-blocked shoe. These funky chunks can be worn out and about during the day--with jeans, a tee, and a cardigan... and for a night on the town, try a pair of these babies with your skinnies, sexy top, and a dressy blazer!

*P.O.C. hint: Pair colorful accessories with less colorful clothing.
Blacks, whites, and neutral tones are best when paired with a little P.O.C!

Being from Nashville TN, it kills me to see H&M ads and to hear about all of their fabulous collaborations, because we don't actually have an H&M. Mid- 2011 we all heard 'rumors' about online shopping being available in early 2012 but ,alas, this isn't a reality as of yet. Marni is a surprising collaboration choice for the retail powerhouse, but a smart choice nonetheless. We are seeing spring trends going very retro and back to the 60's, and with these bold prints, colors, and fabrics, H&M hit the nail on the head. H&M says the following of their upcoming collection, available March 8, 2012: 'The colors are vivid and the prints are bold, be they African inspired or simpler color blocks. The silhouettes are all Marni staples, with  full pleated skirts, dresses, cropped trousers and jacquard knit, and fabrics range from silk to crisp cotton poplin.' Check out the preview by watching the video below!
